CNC Lathe Machinist / Swiss-Type (Day Shift)
Experience with Swiss platforms such as Citizen, Star, or Tsugami is strongly preferred.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Programmer to support a growing precision manufacturing operation in the Grandview, Missouri area. This is a hands-on programming and production support role working with complex components in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Program, set up, and operate Swiss CNC equipment for precision machining
Develop and optimize programs to improve efficiency, tool life, and part quality
Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
Perform tooling selection, offsets, adjustments, and machine troubleshooting
Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and maintain tight tolerances
Participate in continuous improvement and collaborate with engineering and production
Maintain documentation, production records, and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of Swiss CNC programming experience (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar)
Strong blueprint interpretation and GD&T knowledge
Ability to perform setups, tooling changes, and machine adjustments
Experience running tight-tolerance components in a production environment
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
Compensation
Pay up to $38/hr based on experience
